Coach Christie Mewis - Head Coach
Coach Mewis is in her 13th year as a High School Coach and Teacher.
She graduated from Katy High School where she played volleyball,
basketball and softball.  She then went to prestigious Texas A&M
University, where she earned a degree in Kinesiology and Math.
She returned home where she coached volleyball, basketball and
softball, and taught math at Katy High.  After two years she moved to
California where she coached volleyball and softball and taught math
at Corona High School.  Strong family ties persuaded her to move back
to Texas where she then joined the Klein ISD staff.  Coach Mewis was
first employed by Klein High where she was the assistant volleyball
and basketball coach.  She enjoyed her two years at KS, but saw an
opportunity to move up and accepted the Head Volleyball Coaching
position at Klein Oak in 2002.  This is her 8th year as Head Volleyball
coach, and she is excited about the 2008 season.

Coach Becky Cobb - Asst. Varsity Coach
This is Coach Cobb's fifth year at Klein Oak.   She comes to Klein 
Oak from Deer Park High School where she was the Head Girl's Soccer
Coach from 2001 - 2003.  Coach Cobb graduated from Clear Creek HS
and went on to play soccer at Stephen F. Austin State University.  She
received her bachelors degree while there and finished her teacher
certification at UHCL.  She was the Klein Oak Girls JV volleyball and
soccer coach for two years, and is now the Girls Varsity Soccer Coach.
 

Coach Jeremy Rodgers - JV Coach
This is Coach Rodgers third year at Klein Oak, and 2nd year coaching
volleyball at Klein Oak.  He is also the Girls JV Basketball coach,  
teaches English II and is the Freshman Class Sponsor.  He was born 
and raised in Seattle, WA, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree
in English and later earned his Teaching Certificate.  He moved to 
Texas in August 2007 to escape the rain and be closer to his wife's
family.  
He likes Dr Pepper and Skittles and dislikes the number 9 and the
color orange.  ... Now we know!
 

Coach Jennifer Kazmierski - Freshman Coach
Coach Kaz is in her second year as a volleyball coach at Klein Oak.
She also coaches soccer and teaches English.  She went to Bryan
High School where she played volleyball, basketball and softball,
then went on to Sam Houston State University (the lone non-aggie
in her family)  Since graduation, she has coached and taught in
Magnolia, and has recently relocated to this area.
